Applying to be a member of the Hutt Valley & Districts’ Justices of the Peace Council

 Application Process:

To apply to become a Member of Council you must be

(a)            Accredited,

(b)            a financial member and

(c)            of good character.

You need to complete two forms:

(a)            The “Nomination for Office 2026” form, and

(b)            The “Consent and Certificate of Officer” form (note this form consists of 2 pages)

You must provide a short outline, not exceeding 200 words, as to why you believe you are suitable to be a member of Council.

Nominations close at 6.00pm on Monday 31 August 2026 and must be returned on or before this date to Lorraine Kilpatrick, at lorraine@huttjp.org.nz
